after not doing any city Naturing at all last week, it was so exciting to just be in my backyard today! took the short stroll around Stow Lake (as opposed to the full all-around stroll). still finding blooming flowers and still seeing my Great Horned Owl couples. this time, the two GHOs of Strawberry Hill were on the Great Blue Heron nest island in the middle of the lake. watched one fly from there toward MLk, while the other just perched at the tippy top.
