today we had another field trip for The Book! we covered Mallard Lake, The Oasis, Metson Lake, Angler’s Lodge and Casting Pools, Spreckels Lake, and the Bison Paddock! it was a day filled with sweet blackberries, mating Green Darner dragonflies, a super pissed off Red Swamp Crayfish, a bathing Pygmy Nuthatch, a Wilson’s Warbler, many Mosquitofish, Canada Geese not playing polo, an Ash-throated Flycatcher, and BISON. so satisfying to complete The Middle of GGPark with my collaborators! one more field trip to go!!
