today i hit up a couple small green spaces on my list: Lafayette Park and Corbin Street Steps Park. highlights include a spot in Lafayette Park where there are the most Acorn Woodpeckers anywhere and a completely unexpected and lovingly designed “park” opposite a super short staircase connecting 17th St. and Corbett Ave. that i’ve unknowingly driven past a million times cruising up 17th from the Castro. what a delight!
