Golden Gate Park (12/2/2024)

Today I walked around Blue Heron Lake, which I have been wanting to do for some time. And today was a perfect day for it.

But I have no time to talk about it. It’s too late. My photos will show my time there and most of what I saw.

I do have time to say that I intended to find the Great Horned Owls of the East. But I heard then found a female GHO on the hill West of the CAS instead! Never heard a male. Hm.

Didn’t find the pair I know and love. But on the way home, I watched MANY MANY BATS fluttering up and down Pelosi Dr. AND heard a COYOTE crying somewhere near the Lily Pond. So my Naturing ended with an Owl, Bats, and a Coyote. In addition to all the splendor I found around the lake, this was the cherry on top of my ice cream sundae Monday!
