today ended up needing to be a short walk, so we explored side trails between the CAS and the Lily Pond. managed to discover a tiny botanical garden alongside the CAS (on Pelosi Dr.) that was kind of a delightful find. highlights include finding new flora and a unique feather from a raptor?
