today we showed off our fab homemade-by-Jeremy Cole masks! such a good friend to make us these gorgeous accessories!! THANK YOU, JEREMY!!! we stopped in Elk Glen Lake for a quick fail to see a rare bird, walked around Mallard Lake, and walked around Metson Lake. a three lake day. highlights include seeing a somewhat hidden communal bird bath behind Mallard Lake, unintentionally stalking a Great Blue Heron (who didn’t appear to mind at all), seeing crayfish in a creek, and spotting a Belted Kingfisher at Mallard Lake.
