wishing GGPark a happy 150th bday today. pre-pandemic, i only really knew the park for a handful of places in it. pitiful, given it’s my backyard. but since the SiP, we have explored so much of it. and we’ve seen so many nooks and crannies and side trails and seemingly secret spots that i feel like we are very good friends now. intimate, even. it has been an incredible refuge. it has absolutely inspired my interest in identifying flora. and, i think i’d have gone bonkers during this time if it wasn’t there. thank you, GGPark. it has been an utter delight getting to know you better.
