today was all about off the beaten path. we accidentally discovered spots that were on our list (Foley’s [Chess] Gazebo and the Rhododendron Dell) and trekked through the Oak Woodlands and past Bunny Meadow and around the Conservatory of Flowers and along the east side of Lily Pond. highlights were a handful of Townsend’s Warblers and a sleeping Dark-eyed Junco just above us.
