today was all about water: the creek alongside JFK, Lloyd Lake, and Elk Glen Lake. highlights include seeing this Great Blue Heron just hanging out on a lawn with a guy reading a book next to him about 6 feet away and a gal reading next to him (obliviously, until she noticed we were watching him with binocs across the road) and a Brown Creeper (which is a bird, fyi).
