today, we tried to visit the Lily Pond (which i never knew existed before randomly looking at a map of the park), but it was closed off due to repairs. so we wandered through the AIDS Memorial Grove and found a path along the creek we’d never been on before. the redwoods reminded us of The Land, which was nice. very much enjoying exploring unfamiliar spots in our backyard right now.
