today we explored the southwest corner of the park: Murphy Windmill, Middle Lake, South Lake, Equitation Field. THE HIGHLIGHT was easily finding a sleeping coyote at the floor of empty Middle Lake, who woke up from hearing us approach? and then proceeded to HOWL due to being prompted by a fire engine siren nearby!!!
