Point Reyes (4/23/2022)

Today was an another amazing day as part of my CalNat class, this time at Abbotts Lagoon.

And, again, too late and too tired to write. But, highlights include maybe a newtome butterfly (Boisduval’s Blue? Though, I thought it was an Acmon Blue), Owl Clover (finally!), Coyote, River Otters writhing in the sand then swimming out to the lagoon under our bridge, so many caterpillars, male Northern Harriers, and a FLIPPIN’ GREAT HORNED OWL (right in the open, in the sunshine, looking right at us!!!). Owl pics for the owl fans below.
