today we explored a tiny bit of the ginormous Forest Park. there’s a forest in Portland! it’s HUGE. i feel like we walked one block of it, if the rest of it was as big as a city. incredibly green everywhere! after, we visited the Portland Audubon center and wandered through their lovely sanctuary. finished our last night in town with a stop at Rum Club (Coconut Rum Cake with Cherry Cola Ice Cream, YES) and ended the night on Mississippi St. with drinks, dinner, and live jazz. all outdoors and all great. not too shabby, Portland!
