Sonoma Valley Regional Park (08/15/2021)

on our last day in Glen Ellen, we did some Naturing in another new place to us! Acorn Woodpeckers everywhere. plus an American Kestrel, a family of California Quail, and Oak Titmouse or two (we think) were our companions. so nice to visit an Oak Woodland habitat, as described in that book that Yvonne Ellefson got for me. it was like seeing a place i had only read about in books before. sad to have left our idyllic cabin in Glen Ellen, but we’ve already decided we’ll come back someday soon.
