this week has been tough for Naturing, and today there was also no time for it at the usual time because we had guests coming to visit us and hopefully the owls! Victor and John treated us to dinner and drinks and gave me early birthday presents, and we introduced them to the Great Horned Owls of the Lily Pond. got to see the dad in his favorite spot. and got to see Junior flying here and there, looking better and better at it every time i see it! and, super special, got to hear the dad HOOT (!!) a couple times as the skies darkened. first hoots since last winter for me! i love when they hoot. i love showing them to friends. just lots and lots of love on a friday night.
