today we visited that Redwood Regional Park we’ve always been curious about! magical, as all redwood forests are to me. with many new creatures new to my redwood experiences, like the Brush Rabbit (!!!), the orange glittery dragonfly i need to ID somehow without photos (??), new butterflies, Pacific Slope Flycatchers, California Quail families, Western Boxelder Bugs, and the Fox Squirrel. and a handful of flora, like the Western Vervaine. awesome to be Naturing with Bob and Juli and Brian in a place so new and yet so familiar. kinda nutty that we’ll be visiting another redwood forest tomorrow?
