today i climbed a mountain for my monthly Naturing day trip! well, more like leisurely made my way up a small mountain. but, i made it to the top and saw all the views! turns out the random rocky bits with trees were my absolute favorite. along with the numerous butterflies (except those small dark ones that never let me see them well!), tons of Ruby Chalice Clarkia, Spotted Towhees, Vivid Dancers, and Western Fence Lizards that sat still for me, and newtome flora. didn’t spot any blooming Tiburon Mariposa Lily, as i had hoped, but i know where they are now. and a couple will be blooming soon…. nice to have something to look forward to when i return.
