today we had another Field Trip for The Book! we completed the East Side, covering the Lawn Bowling Greens, AIDS Memorial Grove, McLaren Lodge, Robin Williams Meadow, Alvord Lake, and Whiskey Hill. i never tire showing off my favorite nooks and crannies to my appreciative collaborators. but the highlight of the day came near the very end, when they got to see all the California Oak Moths swirling all around just about every Coast Live Oak. just like i experienced last Spring. lots of warm fuzzies getting to share that bizarrely wonderful cornucopia of Moth Madness with Naturing friends, yep!
