today i went birding with Bob! we saw Blue-winged Teals, Red-necked Phalaropes, Violet-green Swallows, and a Western Wood-Peewee at the Lily Pond. plus, i got to show him the Great Horned Owls of the Lily Pond. we found all three of them this time. very high up, so no pics. also saw a Pacific Wren (instead of just hearing it!), a Nuttall’s Woodpecker, and a Downy Woodpecker near the Fairy Door. looking forward to his pics with his awesome camera since all mine were crap!
