today i was on a Stow Lake MISSION. i had a number of flora to document more of / better for my fantastic illustrator Tammy Stellanova. so i didn’t have much time to notice new flora, but i did get to see my first Canada Goose goslings! they were unfortunately being fed, but those fuzzballs are so dang cute. also saw what looked like Great Blue Heron TEENAGERS?? spotted two smallish versions of GBH in the same nest that looked like they had black short mohawks! can’t believe they’re already that big in there!!
