tonight we joined Bob Toleno and Juli Chamberlin for some Owlspotting in the North Bay! hoped to hear and maybe even see a Barred Owl, and we heard it! also heard a Spotted Owl and Northern Saw-whet Owl. and saw many bats flying right over our heads. and saw a Wild Turkey walk up the road toward us before it headed into the forest to roost and make its noises until it got entirely dark. would’ve been amazing to see any of the many owls we heard, but it was dang exciting to know so many were so close to us.
