today i had a Zoom thing until 6pm, so i decided to go for a walk after dinner and just before sunset to try and see where the Great Horned Owls of the Lily Pond might be. and, it was a bust. no sign of them at all. maybe the crazy guy at one of the Lily Pond benches talk/shout/sing-ing to himself scared them off? the newly re-opened tennis court sounds didn’t help either. and i hate that sunset is so late now and will only get worse. might need to start bringing my dinner with me to see the owls? i really might become one of those strange park creature addicts, like the Squirrel Lady…
