today i just walked around Stow Lake. no specific research needs as goals. just a walk around the lake. yes, i DID ID some trees, which are a huge gap in my pandemic Flora adventures. but, i mostly just enjoyed the lake and all the birds. it was like everybody was out and about! the real treats were watching A BAT flittering around over the lake and seeing an adorable new-to-me flower!
