today we started our vacation! took highway 1 down, like we do, and stopped at Mussel Rock (Surf Scoters!) and Pescadero (Artichoke Bread!) before checking into our beach house in Aptos. and we were able to do some Naturing from our deck! AND, i got a life bird from watching their super active backyard mostly covered in Banana Passionflower vines – a Spotted Towhee! things around us got quieter outside on the deck, and we were able to hear the ocean waved crashing. so awesome. excited to be away, in a much bigger place, and to be with my guy.
