today we did a half walk of Stow Lake and a half walk of Strawberry Hill. the skies were amazing when we started and when we finished. we got to see our first Great Blue Heron back at the nesting island, watch a Red-tailed Hawk swoop down to grab a meal then swoop back up to eat it, and hear one of the Great Horned Owls of Stow Lake. would’ve stayed to find it, but Happy Hour was calling…
