today we visited the SFBG. a Cedar Waxwing, a Townsend’s Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, a Hermit Thrush, a Hutton’s Vireo, and a UFR (Unidentified Flying Raptor) all kept us company in the mostly empty garden. but i got to use my new scope more, saw a Mushroom Path for faeries, and a very still Hooded Merganser made a very nice subject for me and my camera!
