today we finished Lands End! i got to show Brian the area around Fort Miley, where we saw many birds – including a Northern Flicker (the same one i saw there before?). and we walked down to Point Lobos so Brian could finally see the Sutro Baths!

it was a bit too crowded down there so we just enjoyed the view. watched the sun set and then the full moon rise on our way back. also got to use my new scope and saw TONS of different kinds of mushrooms. a very nice Monday indeed.
