we weathered a brief wind/rainstorm and birded at Hayward Shoreline as planned today! so nice to have the aroma of post-rains as we saw Western Meadowlarks and Northern Harriers and likely a Leopard Shark and a Jackrabbit and even a Barn Owl during our visit!!
