today we went to Stern Grove for the first time together. Brian had my previous experience of seeing so much more than when attending a concert there. highlight was easily the end on our way back when we heard HOOTING. investigations proved that there were TWO Great Horned Owls in the same tree! and we got to point them out to others, which is always neato. pictures of course do no justice. they are such beautiful and magical creatures.
