today we took a walk in our backyard for a change. we saw a Belted Kingfisher and Northern Flicker at the Lily Pond (which we’ve never seen before there) and walked a bit of the Oak Woodlands Trail, through the Redwood Grove, and back via the Music Concourse. it’s nice to know our backyard is still a lovely spot to stroll through.
