today we left the house right as Karl the Fog was swallowing the west side of the city. so we ventured to a spot we hadn’t been to since quarantine since the sun was still there. did a bit of birding (Yellow-rumped Warblers, Nuttall’s Woodpecker, White-crowned Sparrows), enjoyed views of the bay, and delighted in this Harbor Seal who popped a handful of times while we were watching.
