today i took in some naturing while my car got serviced nearby on Geary. i firmly believe in getting back on that horse, but it took me a bit longer to get back to Mountain Lake Park. but i went back. and also walked past some of my past homes in my former beloved neighborhood, like the flat that burned on Lake St. and my very first apartment on 7th Ave and Clement, just down the street. didn’t mean to. just happened to work out that way. highlights include seeing sun and a clear sky for the first time since the fires started, watching many raptors soaring and loving the sun and thermals, and not finding anything unusual in Mountain Lake.
