today i was relieved to have good afternoon air quality to get out for some much needed naturing. headed out to the west side and wandered around South and Middle Lakes. summer is such a different season in the park, but i still manage to find lovely and vibrant colors here and there. highlights include finding a new-to-me mushroom and possibly a new slime mold, but i’m guessing most folks would appreciate pretty flowers to scroll past!
