today i missed out on the Suenos Jazz Band somehow (they’re starting an hour earlier than usual??), but i was grateful for another good air day. i’ve been noticing lately the changing of the months by revisiting the same spots. like the jungle at the Lily Pond. well, that’s what i call it. in the spring, Bear’s Breeches everywhere. then summer came, and Montbretia exploded everywhere. and in the past week, these pink Amaryllis flowers (Crinum moorei?) popped up out of nowhere. just one example. super neato to bear witness.
