today i didn’t have that much time, so i hit up a couple green spots on my list: Corbett Slope Community Park, Shiloh’s Way Steps, Merritt Park, Lower Terrace Greenspace, and Saturn Street Steps Park – my new favorite street steps park. i can’t believe how many there are in the city! i don’t know what the neighborhood is where all these places are, but i have fallen for it. so many small streets with charming old houses. and since it was actually sunny and clear in the southeast corner of the city, i finished up with a quick stop at Corona Heights Park. pretty much no wildlife this afternoon, but a Red-tailed Hawk did a flyover above me at CHP. and that was a nice way to end my mini adventures day.
