went back to Bernal to water some plants for our housesitting duties, and i decided to make it a mini adventure day. thanks to Molli Amara Simon, i got to try a baked good via safe delivery-by-pulley system from Bernal Bakery. also checked out the Nevada Open Space and Mayflower Garden in the neighborhood. and the hidden gem was this communal garden that Aoife Davis told me to check out. lovingly cared for, this garden/farm was a delight to walk through and included many Pygmy Nuthatches, Northern Mockingbirds, a Red-tailed Hawk, and even a garter snake!
