today i did most of the Greatest Hits (aka my faves) of GGPark East: Whiskey Hill, Lily Pond, Secret Garden (ok, it’s not called that, but that’s what we call it), stopped in for an afternoon jazz fix thanks to Suenos Jazz Band, Heroes [Redwood] Grove, Fairy Door, Side Trail from there to the Log Cabin (it really deserves a name), and around Stow Lake to home. highlights include seeing so many animals than normal at the Lily Pond (see raccoon taking a bath in it in comments below) and getting a nice view of what i’m guessing is a juvenile Cailfornia Scrub-Jay, Bob and Juli?
