today i wandered around the Botanical Garden. i didn’t have THAT much time, and i wanted lots of specimens to practice using my new super awesome Macro/Wide Lens for my phone that the amazing Juli Chamberlin surprise gifted me!!! it is now SO EASY to get closeups of the teeny tiny flowers i so often come across! easily the highlight of my outing today. THANK YOU SO MUCH, JULI!!!!!!!
forgot another highlight – a woman who saw me closely inspecting a flower that thought i worked there and asked me where “The Pond” was. i replied, “Which pond?” (as there are three). she said, “the Waterfowl Pond.” i pointed her in the right direction and felt like i belonged there.
