today was a last minute change of plans, so i wandered. yet again, hopes dashed of the Lily Pond being re-opened, so i just wandered aimlessly. highlight was easily unintentionally attending a live concert by Tribal Baroque on the south side of the tunnel opposite the Conservatory of Flowers. two people of different races/cultures, playing beautiful music together outside of a locked gate. i confess the symbolism made it a bit dusty where i stood in appreciation.
